Eden Rose

During the pandemic, I found solace in painting, capturing the beauty of Eden roses in a watercolor pattern. Inspired by my longing for gardens and my favorite flowers, this artwork became a reflection of hope and the beauty of nature. I digitized this watercolor pattern to create a unique design for denim jackets. The delicate and vibrant roses bring a touch of elegance and nostalgia, transforming the denim into a canvas of blooming artistry. This design not only celebrates the charm of Eden roses but also symbolizes resilience and the enduring beauty of nature, even in challenging times.

Bluesla International Weekend
Event T-Shirt

I was commissioned to design a t-shirt for the Blueasla Ankara International Weekend 1st Edition, intended for participants. The design features two dancers with watermelons for faces, offering a playful nod to the event’s theme and paying homage to Ghaza. The design integrates the event’s name and essential details, all rendered in a funky, vintage print style. The combination of whimsical elements and retro aesthetics creates a vibrant and memorable look that captures the spirit of the event and provides attendees with a unique keepsake.

Fox Cutout

This unique illustration of a fox began as a handcrafted linocut print, which I meticulously digitized to capture its intricate details and character. The fox, my spirit animal, symbolizes intelligence, adaptability, and a wild yet friendly nature. Foxes are remarkable creatures, known for their cleverness and ability to form bonds when given time and space to adjust.

I created several versions of this digital artwork, each with its own distinct charm, reflecting different facets of the fox’s personality. These designs have been applied to t-shirts and denim jackets, merging traditional printmaking techniques with modern fashion. Each piece embodies a blend of artistry and wearable style, making it a standout addition to any wardrobe. Through these designs, I aim to share the spirit of the fox, encouraging a connection with nature and a celebration of individuality.

The variations of my fox illustration include a single fox, a fox with a cozy symbolic environment, and a pattern featuring multiple foxes. Each version tells a different story, whether it’s the solitary grace of a lone fox, the warmth of a fox in a snug setting, or the dynamic energy of a repeating pattern. These diverse designs allow for a unique expression of style.

Shrooms!

I was commissioned to create a watercolor painting of mushrooms for a shroomaniac, capturing the whimsical and intricate details of these fascinating fungi. This artwork, originally rendered in vibrant watercolors, was then digitized and transformed into a vector design.

Now, this mushroom motif is used on denim and t-shirts, infusing them with a funky urban vibe. The design blends natural elements with modern streetwear, creating unique pieces that stand out. Whether on a jacket or a t-shirt, this playful and stylish pattern brings a touch of nature’s whimsy to urban fashion.

The Elephant

One of my favorite pieces, this watercolor painting captures the serene and graceful essence of a swimming elephant. Inspired by the majestic and gentle nature of these magnificent creatures, the artwork reflects their elegance and calm presence.

I digitized the painting while preserving its original watercolor texture, ensuring the final design retains the rich, fluid quality of the hand-painted piece. This unique artwork celebrates the beauty and tranquility of elephants, offering a whimsical yet sophisticated touch to any medium it graces.

Fox.
Again.

This watercolor painting of a fox in the night captures the mysterious and tranquil beauty of the nocturnal world. The delicate interplay of shadows and light portrays the fox’s serene presence under the moonlit sky. I digitized the artwork and transformed it into a vector design, preserving the enchanting watercolor textures while ensuring it remains sharp and versatile across various mediums.

Hold my hands!

This drawing features two slightly odd hands reaching out, embodying a sense of connection and invitation. The artwork explores themes of reaching out and mutual support with an intriguing, slightly abstract twist. I created two versions: one with just the hands, presenting a subtle and introspective message about connection, and another that boldly proclaims “Hold My Hands!” for those who seek a clearer, more direct expression.

Both designs have been applied to denim and oversized t-shirts, transforming them into powerful, wearable statements. The juxtaposition of the abstract and the explicit invites a personal and thoughtful interaction, making each piece a unique conversation starter and an expression of the need for human connection in everyday life.

Dancers
in the blossoming

This design celebrates the art of dance through two distinct yet complementary interpretations, created entirely from scratch using Illustrator. As a dancer myself, I’ve explored the elegance and fluidity of movement in these pieces.

The first version features two dancers with blossoms for heads, captured in a graceful close embrace, rendered in a clean, linear style. This design emphasizes the purity and intimacy of their connection through minimalist artistry.

The second version expands on this theme by placing the same dancers in a more romantic and enchanting setting. Against a backdrop of a starry night sky and accompanied by musicians, the scene evokes a sense of celebration and harmony. This version enriches the narrative with a vibrant and dreamlike atmosphere, blending the elegance of dance with the allure of a moonlit performance.

Both designs are crafted digitally from scratch, showcasing the beauty and emotion of dance through Illustrator. They offer a unique visual experience that resonates with the passion and rhythm of movement.
